In Chapter 21, the NY Examiner is sold compromising photos of Claire Underwood.
This was due to Remy Danton, who was able to track down a print shop used by Adam Galloway. He then proceeded to purchase photographs Adam took of Claire during their affair. With the approval of Raymond Tusk and Jean Tusk, he sells the photos to the NY Examiner to draw unwanted attention to the Underwoods and their marriage after Frank Underwood ascends to the Vice Presidency. Frank is informed of the publication of the article by Doug Stamper.
