The inauguration of Garrett Walker as the 45th President of the United States took place on Monday, January 21, 2013. The inauguration marked the commencement of the only four-year term of Garrett Walker as President and Jim Matthews as Vice President.

Following Walker's inauguration, former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle and their children, Sasha and Maliah, were escorted by the Walker's to Marine One, where it flew the Obama family to Andrews AFB (where there was a final 21 Cannon Salute for Obama & final review of the Honor Guard of the Armed Forces).
Afterwards, the Obama's got on Special Mission 747 and flew back to Chicago, Illinois.
