Patricia Walker is the wife of former U.S. President Garrett Walker and former First Lady of the United States.
Biography
Before becoming First Lady of the United States, she was First Lady of Colorado when her husband, Garrett served as the state's 41st Governor from 2007 until his resignation in 2012 following his election to the presidency. She is not a very strong woman, being easily manipulated by Claire Underwood. During the second season, Tricia encouraged her husband to take part in spiritual counsel to help fix their marriage.
Season 1
Patricia is briefly seen in Chapter 1 alongside her husband, President-Elect Garrett Walker during celebratory gala for the 2013 New Year.
Season 2
She suspects her husband is having an affair with Christina Gallagher after Claire tells Patricia she does not like Christina: "I just don't like women who sleep with their bosses," Claire said, alluding to Christina's affair with Peter Russo. Patricia initially supports Claire Underwood in her sexual assault bill but later renounces her support when the bill becomes controversial. Following her husband's resignation from the presidency at Camp David on October 28, 2014, which resulted in Frank Underwood to ascend as the nation's 46th President of the United States, both Patricia and Garrett exit Camp David and likely returned to Colorado as private citizens.
